In Riyadh, a delegation led by Her Excellency Nialé Kaba, Senior Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, host country of the inaugural GAASPI Summit, was received by the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), alongside H.E. Mr Abdullah KH Almusaibeeh, President of BADEA. Among the strategic matters discussed was the Gulf-Arab Africa Strategic Partnership Initiative (GAASPI), presented by Gravitas Sovereign and Strategic Advisory.
The exchanges pointed to a clear convergence between the two regions. The General Secretariat welcomed GAASPI as a platform serving shared interests across the Gulf and Africa, and one that resonates closely with the GCC’s own strategic priorities, from security and economic development to communications and cultural exchanges.
As the initiative moves from dialogue toward delivery, the coming weeks will bring further engagement across the Gulf, drawing in partners from Côte d’Ivoire and beyond. Each step builds momentum toward the inaugural GAASPI Summit in Abidjan and toward a Gulf-Africa partnership built to last.
